The History of Affordable Homes with Pine View
Mr. & Mrs. Elmore L. Hustus established the legacy that is Pine View Homes, Inc. in 1955. The couple’s daughter and son-in-law, Anna & Stanton Ayer, later bought ownership, keeping Pine View Homes in the family, and continuing the brand of being a personal, family owned and operated business. The legacy continued with the next in line, the third generation of family owners, Michael & Tracy Ayer, who later sold the business to the fourth generation owner in 2017, their daughter, Trish Banks. Trish has been with Pine View since she was old enough to work. She has fond memories of her grandfather selling homes to the grandparents of people she is selling homes to now.

The evolution of the business has gone from quality 8×10 travel trailers back in 1955, growing into single-wide homes, later expanding into the double-wide home market, and now offering modular and subdivision homes! There are plans to flourish even further as Pine View Homes continues to grow with happy customers. Trish maintains the family values and integrity of the three generations before her – to provide Mainers with quality, energy efficient housing.
