Ritz-Craft Turns 70 and Pine View’s Celebratory Achievement

In 2024, Ritz-Craft is celebrating its 70th year of providing beautiful homes for families such as yours.

Back in 1954, Ritz-Craft started in Argos, Indiana, with some travel trailers and kicked off an amazing story. They’ve been going strong for 70 years as the largest family-owned modular builder in the United States building quality manufactured homes that reflect the personalities and needs of their customers.

This story means a lot to Pine View Homes, as its founder, Elmore Hustus, in 1955, was one of the first dealers to sell Ritz-Craft’s amazing homes. Now, as Pine View Homes, also a family-owned company for four generations, is preparing for its 70th birthday in 2025. We’re proud to continue to partner with Ritz-Craft.

Recently, Trish Banks, owner of Pine View and great-granddaughter of Elmore, received the Rising Star award from Ritz-Craft in recognition of Pine View Home’s continued dedication to representing Ritz-Craft’s homes of distinction. This award acknowledges the strength of the partnership; together, Pine View Homes is working hard to make people’s dream houses come true in a Ritz-Craft modular home.

More about Ritz-Craft Homes

In 1976, Ritz-Craft moved its headquarters from Argos, Indiana, to Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, where homes continue to be built today. By the 2000’s, manufacturing sites were opened in Michigan and North Carolina to meet the demand across the northeast and Mid.

Ritz-Craft created a division within the company called Legacy Crafted Cabinets to create amazing kitchens – the heart of a home. And it doesn’t end there. They also created Legacy Building Products to make sure every little detail of your house is perfect. Lastly, to control the transportation of their quality products to their valued customers, Ritz-Craft created Ritz-Trans. This ensures their cabinetry and homes will be delivered to you safely and efficiently.

Constantly looking for opportunities to build upon their past success, Ritz-Craft opened the Employee Training Center. Experienced employees mentor and instruct new hires so that quality craftsmanship guarantees Ritz-Craft continuing legacy of building long-lasting homes.

We can’t wait to show you what’s next. Keep an eye out for every evolving innovation, designs and décor that Ritz-Craft is working on to improve their homes and stay relevant. We’ll never stop coming up with new ideas, and we’ll keep working to make your dream of a home come true.
